CEMPRO - Cement job simulation model

  A successful cement job is one of the most important factors to the productive life of any well. Computer modeling has allowed far better understanding of the cement job than was previously possible. CEMPRO was developed to aid in the design of optimum mud displacement. Many potential problems can be identified prior to the job and appropriate modifications can be made.

Technical features:

     Flow dynamics during cementing job for 3D wells
     Offshore application. Fluid returns to sea floor
     Foamed cementing option
     Forward or reverse circulation
     Free-fall / back-fill (U-tubing) calculation
     ECDs / Pressures at various depths vs. time
     Annular contact time for all fluids
     Turbulence table for fluids at different geometry
     Choke pressure can be manually applied or computer calculated to avoid u-tubing.
     Handles up to 10 fluids, each pumped at 5 rates.
     Fluid displacement animation on screen.
     Automatically export results into MS Word.
     Allows oil field, SI and customized units
